The "Flush Series" hatch is highly durable. The reinforced ribs make it capable of being stood or walked on for long periods of time. This is our lowest profile hatch that minimizes the chance of it being a tripping hazard as well if mounted in a high traffic area. The improved gasketing system provides a watertight seal that will keep everything underneath it dry. This product holds up to the harshest of weather conditions and is impervious to harsh chemicals. All of our products are UV stabilized minimizing degradation from prolonged sunlight exposure. Our superior 316 stainless steel piano hinge system prevents any premature rusting due to saltwater. Superior materials for a superior product.

16" x 18" Flush Series Hastch
I needed large hatches for my rear deck on my center console boat. The previous owner / builder of the boat covered the batteries with the deck and you had to remove the deck to get to them. I rebuilt the deck and put two of these hatches in so I could access the batteries and gas tank. I ordered these on Sunday and received them on Wednesday. Fast shipping!. They are strong enough to walk on and very low to the deck. No tripping. They are well made and should last for ever. I would purchase other products from this company in a heart beat. They have the best selection I could fine and made in the USA.

Good Product!
Have not had a chance to mount it, but overall product seems strong and well built. Sort of seems flimsy to torsional load but I'm sure that is because it is not mounted or secured yet. Really should not see that type ov loading when secured. Would have been nice if it came with mounting hardware for that price. I would defiantly consider buying again if the need for another arises.
